Pro Audio Calculator is an easy to use 3 in 1 iPhone or iPad application for every type of audio installer, who needs to predict the performance of a system. By inserting your values, the App easily calculates amplifier output (in Voltage & dBu), Loudspeaker Sound Pressure Level (continuous, program & peak) and Amplifier Requirement.

  Amplifier Requirement - By utilizing the Inverse Square Law, you can calculate the proper power amplifier you require by entering the sensitivity rating (1W/1M) and desired SPL at your specified seating distance (in feet or meters). You can also add your own desired Headroom.

  Loudspeaker SPL - You can calculate Sound Pressure Level (SPL) at any specified distance (in feet or meters) by entering the loudspeaker’s Sensitivity Rating (1W/1M) and power applied to the speaker in watts. The calculator will give you the Peak, Program and Continuous SPL levels in dB.

  Amp Output – By entering your own values for Rated Output Power (W), Amplifier Load (ohms) and Input Sensitivity (dBu) you will get the Voltage and Gain.
